Episode 23 - Interview with an Oiler: Charla Cox

There is always hope, always a resource, always something that can help.

Try different things and ask people you trust!

  • How long have you been using essential oils?

4 years, after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder

  • What is your favorite oil or oil blend?

Frankincense – it is called “the king of all oils.” It is great for anything!

  • How have oils helped you support your wellness?

My autoimmune disorder has benefitted from Mineral Essence and citrus oils. Progessence plus balances my hormones. Cool Azul and Deep Relief are great for any aches and pains.

  • What was life like before oils?

A lot more time going to the pharmacy and doctor trying to figure out what to do. More missed days at work and days missing out on life.

  • What is your favorite supplement?

Mineral Essence. It is the most effective magnesium I have ever taken!

  • How do you get past the taste of Mineral Essence?

Pinch your nose, take the supplement, chase it down with a juice afterwards. It is so worth it!

  • Do your kids or other family members use essential oils?

Everyone everyday.  “Everyone go oil up!” It is a daily routine.

  • Daily Young Living Essential Oil routine, why do you choose to make that your routine?

All shower products, baby wash (tear free and clean); face serum reversed my dry skin; savvy makeup; lemon water; mineral essence; Life9 and Essentialzymes-4NingXia Red, Vitamin C, and sulfurzyme water bottle; NingXia Nitro throughout the day; emotional oils throughout the day, one as a perfume; diffuser in the kitchen – purification, thieves, Christmas spirit, peppermint, lemon, or a blend; at night diffuser blend of lavender, cedarwood, patchouli; thieves tea; at night ImmuPower on spine and RC on chest.

  • Why do you take digestive enzymes if they are in our food already?

We were designed to eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables; however, we do not eat many today and they are not as nutritious as they once were, so I take enzymes.

  • Anything else you want to share?

There is always hope, always a resource, always something that can help. Try different things and ask people you trust!

Our positive affirmation for the week: “I will find the resources I need to keep my body well.”
